In the equation that inspires our artistic practice, time is the most important variable. By affording our creative team extended periods of time to develop each work, we allow the company to travel artistically at the right speed, thereby expanding our abilities. As a result, DVxT has attracted some of Canada's most gifted theatre artists to join our theatrical equation.

Founded by director-designer Vikki Anderson, DVxT is dedicated to presenting memorable, stylish productions using challenging texts that offer an ensemble experience to our company. That commitment has garnered 19 Dora Award Nominations, 12 Dora Awards, the development of 4 new Canadian works and the admiration of our peers and devoted audience.

Each text, be it a classic or a new script, receives a workshop in the season prior to production as well as a six-week rehearsal period for the final production. An organic rehearsal process is our main focus.
